Replacing your old air conditioner and having an Energy audit on your home will enable you the home owner to receive a grant of at least $250. This is the smallest amount and in most cases it will be much higher.
To meet the requirements you will need to Replace your central air-conditioning system with an ENERGY STAR qualified system that has a SEER of 14.5 or higher (complete system replacement, including indoor coil and outdoor components).
